Reporting to the Planning & Reliability General Supervisor, you will be part of the Maintenance Department. You will supervise and support the planning team and enforce maintenance best practices in terms of preventative, corrective, and modification maintenance. You will hold an important role in ensuring the department objectives are in line with the mission of your department and clients’ expectations, while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s culture, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.
- Direct supervision, lead and coach team of planners and CO-OP students
- Provide specific training and development opportunities for immediate employees
- Coach and mentor subordinates regarding employee relations, safety, environmental, productivity and cost control. Address inappropriate behavior as required
- Coach and mentor subordinates regarding planning best practices
- Automate reporting in Microsoft Excel & Power BI to maximize effectiveness of planning team
- Manage long term planning program for Planned Component Replacements (PCR)
- Manage critical parts warehousing and part supplier strategies for Mobile Fleet with different stake holder to maintain a healthy inventory management that secure the operations
- Support department in monthly budget reporting, yearly budget cycle (OPEX and CAPEX)
- Manage work order clean-up/close-out, yearly PO & final invoicing
- Manage master data in CMMS (standard BOM, clean-up BOM, clean-up JDE parts, etc) in collaboration w/ Asset Management department
- Develop, review and Audit Planning processes
- Participate in the establishment of department objectives and implement action plan toward their achievement
- Promote a safe, inclusive & Respectful working environment
- Participate to the implementation of succession plan
- All other duties assigned by the General Supervisor
- College Diploma (3 years) in mechanical, electrical or industrial field
- 5+ years of experience in planning
- 3-5 years of experience in supervision
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical or Mining Engineering or a Technical Diploma are considered an asset
- Cultural awareness and understanding of work in the Canadian Arctic are considered an asset
- Experience with JD Edwards is considered an asset
- Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite applications especially Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint

Your Work Schedule:
- Schedule: 14 days of work, followed by 14 days for transportation and rest
- Accommodations and meals are provided on site at no cost to the employee. Agnico Eagle provides charter flights to and from the mine site and will accommodate to cover other travelling expenses according to your location of residence in Canada.
