Workrise is looking for an E&M Planner (Electrical and Maintenance) Location : Sarnia, Ontario Start : Mid-June 2025 | Duration : 1 year (potential extension)We're looking for an experienced Maintenance Planner to join our team in Sarnia, ON. In this role, you'll focus on future work planning so supervisors can focus on day-to-day execution. You'll handle job planning, labor estimates, materials, and Maximo work orders—all while keeping safety and collaboration front and center.What you'll do : Manage and track work orders in MaximoEstimate labor and craft hours required for workWalk job sites to scope work, flag hazards, and ensure safe executionCoordinate with contractors, supervisors, engineers, and techsRequisition materials, monitor PM compliance, and update plans as neededLead weekly planning meetings and keep stakeholders alignedWhat you bring : 5+ years of relevant experience (or a solid mix of experience + education)High School Diploma or GED requiredStrong communication, organization, and team skillsExperience with Maximo is preferredAbility to read P&IDs, isometrics, and OEM manualsOil & gas industry knowledge is a plusWork Environment : Based at the Sarnia Terminal (60% office / 40% field)Local travel (50–100 km / day); occasional evenings / weekends requiredExposure to extreme temps and industrial environments️ Safety-sensitive role : D&A test + valid Driver’s Abstract requiredMust be local to the Sarnia area
