Supported by strong leadership and a dedicated team, PMC offers flexible, value-added services through expertise in marketing, logistics, and asset management. Our Operations department comprises professionals committed to conducting business safely and securely, prioritizing the safety of the public, employees, contractors, assets, and the environment.

We are currently seeking a Maintenance Planner for our PPTC assets across Saskatchewan and Manitoba. Based in Regina, this role involves collaboration with Electrical & Instrumentation, Mechanical, Engineering, Construction, and Operations teams. Reporting to the Team Lead, Maintenance Planning & Scheduling, you will be responsible for planning and scheduling short- and long-term maintenance activities, including regular maintenance, asset integrity, capital projects, and major turnarounds. Candidates with less than five years of planning experience are not suitable for this role.

Applicants must reside within 100 km of Regina; preference will be given to local candidates. PMC offers a competitive wage and comprehensive benefits, effective from the first day of employment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop detailed work plans and procurements for turnarounds, integrity projects, and maintenance activities, adhering to scope, policies, OEM recommendations, and industry standards.
  2. Follow established work execution management processes (WEMP).
  3. Stay informed about industry advances and seek opportunities to add value.
  4. Ensure all maintenance activities and materials are documented in Maximo.
  5. Maintain an accurate, efficient maintenance schedule following scheduling processes.
  6. Prioritize and log maintenance activities systematically.
  7. Seek personal development and performance improvement continuously.
  8. Coordinate with various teams to assemble work packages and prepare for scheduling.
  9. Share knowledge and support team collaboration.
  10. Monitor maintenance KPIs and collaborate with stakeholders to address deviations.
  11. Take ownership of results and mistakes, aiming for continuous improvement.
  12. Develop and manage the job plan library for ongoing efficiency.
  13. Build positive relationships with contractors and service providers.
  14. Manage master data through processes like Management of Change (MoC).
  15. Provide backup for schedulers and supervisors and execute emergency procedures as needed.

Qualifications:

  1. Certified interprovincial journeyman trade certification in a relevant Plains trade.
  2. 10+ years of preventative maintenance experience in an industrial setting preferred.
  3. 5+ years’ planning experience.
  4. Experience with shutdowns/turnarounds is an asset.
  5. Knowledge of Maximo, Prometheus, or similar CMMS; reliability-centered maintenance experience is a plus.
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  7. Self-motivated with excellent time management and communication skills.
  8. Ability to lead by example and positively influence teams in a dynamic environment.
  9. Permanent residence within 100 km of Regina.
  10. Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
  11. Clear criminal background and satisfactory references.
  12. Compliance with company drug and alcohol policies, including pre-employment testing.
