YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE:

Reporting to the maintenance superintendent and working in close collaboration with your team members as well as members of other areas of the division, you will be a part of the Upper Beaver Operations Department. You will ensure goals and objectives are attained, while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s company culture, Health & Safety Code of Conduct, and the environment.

  • Work, share, and collaborate with general supervisors, supervisors, maintenance personnel, and other members of the maintenance team
  • Plan, document, schedule, print, and close work orders
  • Generate and distribute weekly work schedules for the different maintenance activities required for surface infrastructures
  • Plan and prepare the materials and subcontractors required for upcoming maintenance of fixed infrastructures and equipment
  • Set up and manage a kitting area for planned maintenance activities
  • Adjust and improve the existing maintenance program
  • Coordinate with the JDE Ontario team to add new assets, parts lists, inventory items, and maintenance programs to the computerized maintenance system as the Upper Beaver site expands
  • Contribute to the Operations Team’s objectives and key performance indicators used to analyze those objectives
  • Manage the documentation (IOMs, plans, parts lists, NDT reports, supplier inspection reports, etc.) related to on-site assets
  • Proactively suggest improvements to the maintenance program and practices for the site
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
  • A college degree or Red Seal certification in industrial maintenance or a related field, or equivalent pertinent experience
  • Good technical skills and initiative
  • Organized, meticulous, with strong analysis and leadership capabilities
  • Able to organize time and priorities effectively, work autonomously
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Schedule: 5 days of work followed by 2 days off, or 4 days of work followed by 3 days off, for transportation and rest at our Upper Beaver Mine.
