Job summary

Hartmann Canada Inc. in Brantford, Ontario, a division of Hartmann North America, is seeking a Maintenance Planner to schedule routine and outage maintenance, support plant projects, and assist the Maintenance Manager.

The role involves planning work orders, coordinating internal and external labor, and ensuring parts availability. Ideal candidates have 3+ years of related experience and an engineering/maintenance education.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years related work experience complemented by a post secondary education in engineering, technology and/or maintenance.
  • Enthusiastic, positive and self-motivated, with an ability to work independently.
  • Tenacity and resilience to ensure that organized work is completed.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
  • High level of computer competency, including work experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Communication skills, written, verbal and comprehension.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule shutdown planning and execution.
  • Assess equipment needs prior to scheduled shutdowns (pit stops) and develop a plan accordingly;
  • Schedule internal and external labor to meet the required work to be completed.
  • Assign, distribute, and collect completed work orders from internal and external labor for shutdowns
  • Work Order Management and CMMS implementation
  • Subject matter expert during upcoming implementation of a CMMS;
  • Generate and distribute work orders for routine maintenance activities
  • Plan and schedule PM's for the facility related to HVAC, Lighting, Compressors, Air Dryers, Boilers
  • Maintenance Job Plans & Spare Part Inventory Management
  • Coordinate spare parts inventory with Store room;
  • Coordinate scheduled parts for routine maintenance with stores room
  • Other general duties as assigned.

Hartmann Canada Inc, in Brantford, Ontario is a division of Hartmann North America. We are the world leader of moulded fibre egg cartons. The demand for moulded fibre and environmentally sustainable products is rapidly increasing. Hartmann has committed and invested in this area to meet the growing demand of our products.

We require the talent of a Maintenance Planner to join our team. This position plans and schedules routine and shutdown/planned outage maintenance tasks for plant and building equipment. The candidate will also actively support plant projects, emergency equipment failures & other activities to support the Maintenance Manager

Duties
