Job summary

Coke Canada Bottling is actively seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to ensure smooth operation of our Brampton production lines, troubleshoot equipment, perform immediate repairs, and carry out preventative maintenance to maximize uptime.

The ideal candidate holds a 433A Millwright license, 1–5 years of industrial maintenance experience, reads diagrams, and has SAP familiarity. This role is based in Brampton with shift work and competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 433A Millwright license required; Dual Ticket (Electrician/Millwright) preferred.
  • 1–5 years of industrial maintenance experience required as a millwright.
  • Ability to read and interpret diagrams.
  • SAP experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and provide immediate preventative and corrective maintenance support to production lines.
  • Troubleshoot equipment problems and perform immediate repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment.
  • Overhaul and install new equipment.
  • Rebuild and fabricate parts.
  • Perform facility maintenance and maintain clean and safe work area.
  • Generate parts requests to ensure adequate inventory.
  • Generate and complete work orders as assigned.
  • Perform equipment change-overs and production line set ups.

About This Opportunity

The Maintenance Mechanic role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of production lines, involving troubleshooting, immediate maintenance support, and proactive measures at Coke Canada production facilities.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 433A Millwright license required, Dual Ticket (Electrician/Millwright) preferred
  • 1-5 years of industrial maintenance experience required as a millwright.
  • Must have the ability to read and interpret diagrams
  • Programmable Logic Control (PLC) knowledge would be an asset.
  • Prior diagnostic/troubleshooting and preventative maintenance experience preferred.
  • Previous experience within high-speed industrial environment, Bottling experience preferred
  • Demonstrated mechanical and technical aptitude.
  • Basic computer skills, usage of SAP system
