About this Position: The Millwright Mechanic will be responsible for carrying out preventative maintenance, maintaining day-to-day operations, and overseeing the physical activities of various assets within the company. This includes general maintenance and upkeep of equipment and machinery to minimize production downtime. The role involves maintaining electrical, mechanical, and related systems, working as part of a team, following all safety and food safety procedures, and working in a manufacturing environment with high heat conditions.

Job Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

• Contribute to the resolution of system and equipment breakdowns and perform general maintenance such as troubleshooting and equipment modification.
• Troubleshoot process and production issues to facilitate repairs.
• Complete documentation related to preventative maintenance, repairs, safety, inventory, and processes/procedures.
• Perform maintenance and repair of production line and packaging equipment.
• Utilize welding, fabrication, pneumatics, and hydraulics skills for equipment repair.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and programs (GMP, Quality, Food Safety, Health & Safety).

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5+ years of similar experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Millwright license is mandatory.
• Experience collaborating with leadership teams and overseeing ongoing initiatives.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with leadership abilities.
• Strong analytical skills to identify issues and drive solutions to improve health and safety.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with a desire to make a significant impact.
• Passion for employee wellbeing and safety.
• Excellent initiative, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or in a team.
