Your daily role

• Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance on processing and packaging equipment, following diagrams, sketches, manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and troubleshooting malfunctions
• Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices, listening for issues, and using precision measuring and testing instruments
• Maintain communication and documentation of actions, irregularities, and ongoing needs among work teams
• Adhere to all plant safety rules and procedures at all times
• Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Your profile

• Journeyman Certificate in the Millwright trade or a related trade such as welding, mechanics, or instrumentation (considered)
• Strong troubleshooting skills and proactive approach
• Own tools for maintenance and repairs
• Excellent organizational skills with initiative and flexibility
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and team-building skills
• Ability to work unsupervised
