Job summary

Wascana is seeking a permanent, full-time Facility Maintenance Mechanic in Saskatoon. You will maintain building mechanical and HVAC systems, perform minor repairs, and ensure safe operation of boiler and air conditioning equipment.

You will report to the Building Operator, perform day-to-day maintenance and grounds-keeping, and take on additional duties as required to support a safe, productive environment for clients and staff in our facility.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining building systems including HVAC and boilers.
• Ability to perform minor repairs and grounds-keeping tasks.
• Willingness to work under the Building Operator and follow safety standards.

The Opportunity:

The Property Management Team has an opportunity for a permanent full-time Facility Maintenance Mechanic position located in Saskatoon.

As an integral part of our service-oriented team, you will maintain and service facility systems to help ensure a safe and productive environment for our customers and clients.

Under the direction of the Building Operator, you will be responsible for:

• Performing facility maintenance duties such as operating, maintaining, and cleaning building mechanical and HVAC systems including providing minor repairs to these systems;
• Performing safe and efficient operation of the boiler systems and air conditioning equipment;
• Analyzing and maintaining boiler water testing and completing minor plumbing repairs;
• Ensuring facilities and equipment are safe and are meeting operating standards;
• Providing day-to-day building maintenance and grounds-keeping; and
• Completing any additional duties as assigned.
