Qualifications

Role Overview

As a Maintenance Manager, you will start your day by checking in with your team, setting clear priorities, and ensuring everyone's focused on safety, quality, and efficiency. You will inspect equipment for potential hazards and ensure preventative maintenance is on track. You will support technicians, manage maintenance schedules, work orders, inventory, and ensure compliance with ISO, HACCP, and GMP standards. Your role is crucial in keeping operations running smoothly and supporting your team.

Qualifications
  • Post-secondary education in a related field or trade
  • 3-5 years of leadership experience in manufacturing (food manufacturing experience is a strong asset)
  • 3+ years in a maintenance role (food manufacturing experience is a strong asset)
  • Experience in LEAN Manufacturing
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and third-party software
  • Willingness to work off-hours/weekends as needed
  • Strong knowledge of process safety management and preventative maintenance
  • Ability to foster teamwork and cooperation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with emotional intelligence
  • Experience in a unionized environment (asset)
  • Ability to work in a cool environment (2-4°C)
  • Creative problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Compensation

Salary: $85,000 - $100,000 per year
