Les Marronniers, a friendly private seniors' residence located in Lévis, is looking for someone to fill a full-time maintenance manager position. We are looking for someone who is versatile, human, who will make a difference in the lives of our residents and who has a smile on their face :) The maintenance manager does minor work: CCQ cards are not required! We offer telemedicine, employee assistance program and more.

Job Status: Permanent: Full Time

Job Schedule: Day time

Purpose of the position

Schedule: Monday to Friday during the day. Salary: to be discussed.

Specifically, your daily life with us will look like:

• Ensure the proper functioning of the building and its equipment.
• Receive requests or complaints to ensure follow-up and carry out corrective measures regarding various work and requests such as power outages, water leaks, etc.
• Carry out short-term cleaning, installation, maintenance or minor repair work whose execution does not require a qualification card, such as the installation of accessories and devices, adjusting doors, repairing furniture, preparing premises to be painted, cleaning appliances, installing plinths, etc.
• Control the inventory of materials and tools required for maintenance and repairs.
• Identify and plan the nature and timing of execution of certain long-term work and ensure follow-up with management.
• Organise or perform all other related tasks regarding the maintenance department, as required and as requested by the immediate superior.
• Communicate the maintenance needs for materials and products and upkeep of the building to the immediate superior.
• Assist residents with any deficiencies related to services provided by the residence.
• Manage apartment renovations in accordance with the program established by general management/the general manager.
