Job summary
IVC Vita Health Products is seeking a Maintenance & Facilities Supervisor to lead the maintenance team and ensure safe, reliable operation of manufacturing equipment and building systems. You will coordinate preventive maintenance, support calibration, and work with QA, Validation, and Production to minimize downtime.
This role may include weekend work and a rotation with the day shift supervisor, primarily on the evening shift, supervising union staff and coordinating external contractors as
Qualifications
- Bachelor-level degree in a relevant engineering/tech field or Red Seal certification.
- Supervisory or leadership training is preferred.
- Experience with GMP-regulated maintenance environments is an asset.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily activities of the Maintenance & Facilities team, including scheduling and coaching.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Document maintenance in CMMS and support validation/calibration activities.
- Support capital projects and change control processes.
- Monitor plant utilities and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
