About the role:

Dow has an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer located in Toronto, ON, CAN.

Responsibilities:

• Provide engineering support to address plant issues impacting safe, reliable production. Offer technical expertise related to equipment and repair techniques affecting facility availability and maintainability.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in equipment failures and repair techniques during root cause investigations.
• Develop maintenance operating discipline and provide technical troubleshooting support to plant personnel.
• Ensure work requests include engineering input on repairs and provide onsite/offsite technical support for critical equipment deviations.
• Document repairs, repair techniques, and equipment-specific training; support the development of maintenance budgets and work packages.
• Contribute to equipment reliability and performance data sharing; support EH&S orientation and safety practices.
• Analyze maintenance metrics, initiate reliability improvements, and implement change management in coordination with leadership.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or relevant military experience equivalent to U.S. E6 or Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class or Sergeant.
• Registration with Professional Engineers of Ontario (PEO) as an Engineer-In-Training or Professional Engineer preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to work legally in Canada; this is a 100% on-site role with flexible core hours (8AM-2PM).
