Job summary

VLink Inc in Brampton, Ontario seeks an Electrical Engineer (Maintenance Electrician) for a 1-year contract. You will provide mechanical-electrical support to plant operations, troubleshoot electrical problems, perform preventive maintenance, and repair motors, pumps, valves, controls, ovens, robots and other machines.

You will work 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM on a 12-hour rotational shift, with 36 hours in Week 1 and 48 hours in Week 2.

Qualifications

• Experience using CMMS to perform planned maintenance and generate work orders.
• Licensed industrial electrician certification.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork.
• Ability to read technical drawings and government regulations.
• Proficient in MS Excel and MS Office.
• Root cause analysis capability.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned maintenance using CMMS and log activities.
• Diagnose electrical problems and repair equipment.
• Support maintenance and safety compliance.
• Provide on-floor support across shifts.
• Participate in project work and procedure development.
• Document procedures and training material.
