Amica Beechwood Village is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator to support daily operations and ensure the upkeep of the facility. You will assist the Maintenance Coordinator with work orders, repairs and preventive maintenance across equipment, suites, and grounds.

Key duties include completing daily work orders, performing painting and touch ups, daily inspections of equipment, pool, and grounds, and conducting fire safety and building security checks.

Formación

• Minimum Grade 12 education.
• Fluency in oral and written English.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing and carpentry repairs.

A day in the life of a Maintenance Coordinator:

With your attention to detail, you will be responsible for assisting the Maintenance Coordinator with the day to day operations of the facility, including the cleanliness and upkeep of the grounds, repairs and maintenance to all equipment in the building and the suites.

• Supporting the Maintenance Coordinator/Manager with completion of daily work orders.
• Repair of equipment in facility and suites.
• Painting and minor building touch ups.
• Daily inspections: equipment, pool, and grounds.
• Daily fire safety and building security checks.

What you will bring:

• Minimum Grade 12 education.
• Fluency in oral and written English.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing and carpentry repairs.
• Basic math skills.
• Basic understanding of hand tools.
• Basic understanding of computers and systems: Yardi, Word, Tels.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs of supplies and equipment.
• Ability to work in small areas and from high heights.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems.
• Familiarity with operational features of fire alarm and security systems considered an asset.
• Knowledge of building codes and safety standards considered an asset
