You will manage maintenance documentation, CMMS/SAP data, work orders, and risk assessments while supporting regulatory compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Grade 12 high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience with GMPs, SOPs, and safety standards.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate maintenance planning and preventive, corrective, and predictive programs.
  • Manage maintenance work orders, notifications, and scheduling weekly, monthly, and yearly.
  • Prepare risk assessments, compliance docs, and quality system records.
  • Support EHS inspections and CAPA tracking and investigations.
  • Maintain CMMS/SAP data, equipment records, and SOPs.
  • Coordinate vendor quotes, spare parts, and service scheduling.
  • Assist with contractor onboarding, site access, and permits.
  • Support shift schedules and workforce allocation for operations.

This job posting reflects a current vacancy within the organization and is for a new, currently open position. **General Description**The Maintenance Coordinator administers, coordinates, and supports maintenance activities to ensure production equipment operates safely, efficiently, and reliably within facility operations. This role works closely with Production, Engineering, Quality, EHS, vendors, and contractors to support maintenance programs, equipment initiatives, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement efforts, while providing key administrative and operational support to the Maintenance Department. ## **Key Responsibilities*** Coordinate maintenance planning activities, and preventive corrective and predictive programs.* Coordinate, maintain, and monitor weekly, monthly, and annual maintenance planning activities.* Coordinate scheduled and unscheduled maintenance work orders, notifications, and maintenance planning activities.* Prepare, maintain, and track maintenance risk assessments, risk mitigation actions, annual risk assessment schedules, and related compliance documentation.* Coordinate annual EHS inspection schedules and support compliance with Quality, EHS, GMP/GxP, and company policies and procedures.* Support maintenance deviations, investigations, corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs), and follow-up activities to ensure timely resolution.* Coordinate the administration of maintenance documentation, equipment records, Standard operating procedures, maintenance reports, Metrics, and CMMS/SAP data to ensure accuracy and compliance.* Liaise with vendors and contractors regarding quotations, spare parts, maintenance services, equipment repairs, and service scheduling.* Support contractor onboarding, site access requirements, work permits, and immigration documentation for contractors and service providers visiting the site.* Coordinate and maintain maintenance shift schedules, resource planning schedules, and workforce allocation plans to support operational requirements.* Participate in reliability and continuous improvement initiatives, including root cause analysis, equipment performance reviews, and asset uptime improvement programs.* Provide administrative support to the Maintenance Department, including report preparation, purchase requisitions, invoice tracking, meeting coordination, document control, and departmental communications.* Perform other reasonable duties as required to meet business needs. ## **Qualifications**## **Experience and Ski**lls* Relevant experience in maintenance coordination, planning, or administration.* Good Understanding of GMP's, Safety and SOPs.* Self-managed team player, adept at working with teams in a production environment.* Good people and interpersonal skills.* Good communication skills, (oral & written - e.g., documentation).* Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, experience with computerized maintenance management-preferably SAP). ## **Education** ## **Required*** Grade 12 high school diploma or equivalent required. ## **Working Conditions*** Onsite role with a regular day shift. **Additional Information**In accordance with Ontario’s pay transparency requirements, candidates will be notified when they are no longer under consideration or once the vacancy is closed.
