Job summary

GLS Canada is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Clerk for the Afternoons shift in Vaughan, ON. In this role you will maintain facilities, inspect equipment, and perform general maintenance tasks to keep operations running smoothly.

The schedule is Monday to Friday, 2:00pm to 10:00pm. Salary is $23.00–$25.00 per hour, based on experience, with full-time permanent status.

Qualifications

• Inspect the general condition of the building, inside and outside.
• Inspect truck wheel chocks and conveyor equipment.
• Inspect loading dock bumpers and clean them as required.
• Ensure garage doors are operating properly.
• Handle, transport, adjust, and maintain tools, equipment, and materials as required.
• Replace light bulbs throughout the facilities.
• Inspect conveyors and perform repairs when required.
• Perform basic painting and general building maintenance.
• Repair and maintain ropaks and logistics bars.
• Perform various maintenance and repair tasks based on operational needs.
