Position Overview

As a Maintenance Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of automated systems within the Medicom Manufacturing facility. Your expertise in automation, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail will be essential in maintaining optimal performance and minimizing downtime.

Key Responsibilities

1. Maintain and troubleshoot automation systems, including PLCs, robotics, and control systems.
2. Ensure the efficiency and reliability of automated processes within the manufacturing facility.
3. Diagnose and resolve issues in automated systems using advanced troubleshooting techniques.
4. Implement system upgrades and improvements to enhance productivity and reliability.
5. Manage automation projects from conception to implementation and ongoing maintenance.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize automated processes.
7. Provide training and technical support to staff on automation systems.
8. Continuously research and adapt to new technologies to improve efficiency.

Required Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
2. 3 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or process environment.
3. Strong knowledge of automation systems, including PLCs, robotics, and control systems.
4. Proficiency in programming languages such as Ladder Logic, Python, or C++.
5. Experience with automation software and tools, including SCADA, HMI, and CAD software.
6. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
7. Effective communication and collaboration skills.
8. Ability to adapt to new technologies and continuously improve skills.

Assets

1. Experience in managing automation projects.
2. Certifications such as AWS, ISTQB, CE, ITIL, CCNA, or similar.
