Sienna Senior Living at Aspira Hunter Village in Saskatoon is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to help keep the residence safe and welcoming. You will perform general repairs, painting, plumbing, and floor care as part of a dedicated team serving residents.

The position is temporary full-time with a Friday to Tuesday schedule (8:30am–5:00pm). End date is April 30, 2027; eligibility to work in Canada and background checks are required.

Qualifikationen

• Certification, training, or work experience in building repairs, painting and finishes.
• Experience with basic plumbing, such as replacing faucets and unclogging toilets.
• Skills in floor care including cleaning, stripping and waxing.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and property maintenance basics.
• Familiarity with heating and air conditioning equipment is preferred.

Aufgaben

• You will be a welcomed team member in a fast-paced setting, maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for residents.
• Perform general repairs and maintenance, including painting, plumbing, woodwork and electrical tasks not requiring a license.
• Maintain building exteriors, grounds, and sidewalks to ensure cleanliness and safety.
• Complete required forms and reports to ensure proper follow-up and documentation.
• Collaborate with staff to support residents' daily living and comfort.
