Brunel University London is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to join the Estates and Facilities team. The role supports reactive and planned maintenance across halls of residence and off-campus properties, reporting to the Building and Facilities Supervisor.

You will perform first-fix repairs, handle compliance tasks, and help create a safe, welcoming environment for students and staff. The team currently includes 12 staff with seasonal contractor support.

Qualifications

• Trade/maintenance knowledge and experience, preferably with recognised qualifications.
• Good working knowledge of digital systems.

Location: Brunel University of London, Uxbridge Campus

Salary: Grade from: £26,168 to £26,325 inclusive of London Weighting with potential to progress to £26,725 per annum, inclusive of London Weighting, through sustained exceptional contribution (pro-rata if part-time).
