Job summary

Extendicare Inc. is seeking a part-time maintenance technician to perform preventive maintenance, PM checks, and technical tasks across our Canadian facilities.

The role includes mechanical operations, building inspections, and minor on-demand repairs in line with policy, safety, and infection control procedures. You will report hazardous conditions and equipment malfunctions to your supervisor while supporting moves of furniture and grounds work as required.

Job description

Performs preventive maintenance and maintenance tasks including PM checks, mechanical operations, building inspections, minor on demand repairs, moving of furniture, grounds maintenance/work, etc. in accordance with the written policies and procedures of Extendicare, trade/CSA legislation and the Maintenance Department as well as prescribed sanitation and infection control procedures.

Reports unsafe and hazardous working conditions and any equipment malfunctions to the supervisor.
