Job summary

Mainstreet Equity Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform building maintenance duties within a residential multi-family setting at its Surrey properties. You will handle general handyman tasks, minor plumbing and electrical work, boiler/HVAC maintenance, carpentry, drywall, tiling and painting.

The role requires at least 2 years of handyman experience, a valid driver’s license with a reliable vehicle, and the ability to work flexible hours including on-call shifts.

Qualifications

• Possess at least 2 years' of general handyman work experience.
• Experience in minor plumbing, minor electrical, carpentry, drywall
• Soldering, troubleshoot of appliances, repair works
• Flexible to work regular work hours and on-call duties/weekends/ after hour emergencies on rotation basis schedule
• Must possess valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle to use at work.
• Must successfully complete a security clearance

Responsibilities

• General handyman duties- minor plumbing, electrical repairs and maintenance
• Inspection and maintenance of boilers, HVAC etc.
• General carpentry, installation of blinds, fixing doors, locks, cabinets etc., drywall, tiling and painting
• Be available for on-call on a rotating schedule to deal with problems that occur after hours and/or weekends
• Manage tenants' maintenance requests including proper follow up to ensure satisfaction and completion

Position Summary
