Job summary

TD is seeking a QA Engineer with strong mainframe testing experience to design and execute test plans, automate test cases, and ensure end-to-end quality in a DevOps-driven environment. You will validate ISPF/TSO, CICS screens, and IMS DB/DB2 data while collaborating with application development and the POD team.

You’ll leverage Java and Selenium for automation, manage defects in JTMF, and contribute to continuous integration and delivery efforts within a SAFe/ Scrum framework.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience with Mainframe testing using ISPF/TSO and CICS online screens.
• Hands-on experience validating Mainframe IMS DB & DB2 databases.
• Strong knowledge of JCLs & Procs.
• Experience validating job logs in Spool.
• Knowledge of Host files (PS, PDS, GDG's), Copybooks and File aid/Insync.
• Experience with Jira/JTMF and Confluence; Endevor version control.

Responsibilities

• Work with the POD team to understand requirements and design test plans and cases.
• Create test scenarios, perform in-sprint, SIT, and E2E testing.
• Design automation-based test cases and leverage existing automation frameworks.
• Create defects in JTMF and conduct defect triage.
• Collaborate with Development to embed quality engineering in the DevOps pipeline.
