Job summary

CIBC in Toronto is seeking a Mainframe Support Co-op to help with database changes in a mainframe environment, build hands-on technical knowledge, and support ongoing delivery and operational readiness.

You will collaborate with experienced team members, contribute to automation initiatives, maintain test environments, and help ensure technology currency across tools and environments.

This 4- to 8-month opportunity offers exposure to enterprise technology operations in a collaborative setting.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree/diploma in computer science or a related field.
• Experience with Python, Microsoft Office, and database concepts is a plus.
• Exposure to mainframe environments, scripting, automation tools, or IBM Z Xplore certifications is advantageous.
