The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in IBM **Mainframe** technologies involving IBM z/OS, **COBOL**, **JCL**, **DB2**, **VSAM** and **CICS**, troubleshooting production issues, ensuring application stability, and driving continuous service improvements.The role requires close collaboration with development, infrastructure, business, and operations teams to support mission-critical applications while maintaining agreed service levels.Key Responsibilities:Production Support & Incident Management:Provide L2/L3 support for **mainframe** applications in production environments.Investigate, analyze, and resolve production incidents within SLA timelines.Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures.Support critical business events, release deployments, and production changes.Application Maintenance:Analyze application failures and identify corrective actions.Coordinate with development teams for defect fixes and enhancements.Validate fixes and support deployment activities.Ensure application availability, reliability, and performance.The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: 80,000 - 90,000.Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws.
