Stream-Flo Industries Ltd. in Alberta seeks an experienced machinist to work on-site in the oil and gas sector. You will read drawings, set up machines, measure parts with precision tools, and ensure close tolerances are met.

This role requires 5+ years of experience, a machinist trade certificate, and the ability to work under tight deadlines. You will maintain inspection records, document deviations, and collaborate with a skilled team in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Minimum 5 years of experience in machinist roles.
• Trade certificate or diploma in a related field.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.

Responsabilidades

• Compute dimensions and tolerances of machine parts.
• Measure and lay out work pieces for assembly.
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, charts and tables.
• Repair machine tools and parts.
• Set up and adjust production machinery/tools.
• Fit and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance.
• Maintain, repair and calibrate precision measuring instruments.
• Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances.
• Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports.
• Verify dimensions of parts machined using micrometers and calipers.
• Set up and operate conventional and CNC machine tools.
• Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications.
