Croatia Industries Ltd. in Saskatoon seeks an experienced machinist to perform precision machining, inspect parts, read drawings, set up CNC and conventional machines, and maintain inspection records.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of on-site manufacturing experience, a Machinist Trade Certification or equivalent, and a WHMIS certificate; ability to work under tight deadlines with attention to detail.

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and measures.
• On-site manufacturing experience in a shop setting.

Responsabilidades

• Compute dimensions and tolerances of machine parts.
• Measure and lay out work pieces for assembly prep.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables.
• Set up and adjust production machinery/tools.
• Fit and assemble components to close tolerances.
• Document deviations from specifications and tolerances.
• Maintain inspection records and complete reports.
• Verify dimensions of parts with precision instruments (micrometers, calipers).
• Operate conventional and CNC machine tools and verify product dimensions.
