Job summary

Kibbi Technologies Inc. in Richmond, BC seeks a detail-oriented inspector to join our manufacturing team. You will read drawings, measure parts, and ensure components meet specifications with precision tools.

Permanent, full-time position with on-the-job youth training and a 30-hour work week. Candidates should have secondary school completion and 1–2 years of relevant experience; English is the working language.

Qualifications

• Secondary school graduation required.
• 1–2 years of experience in a related role.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Compute dimensions and tolerances of machine parts.
• Measure and lay out work pieces in preparation for assembly.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables.
• Repair machine tools and parts.
• Set up and adjust production machineries/tools.
• Fit and assemble components to close tolerances.
• Document deviations from specifications and tolerances.
• Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports.
• Verify dimensions with precision measuring instruments.
• Operate machines to fabricate parts and products.
• Prepare and interpret engineering designs and specifications.
• Maintain equipment and supplies.

Education:

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

TASKS

• Compute dimensions and tolerances of machine parts
