Job summary

Kibbi Technologies Inc. in Burlington, Canada, is seeking a skilled machinist to contribute to general manufacturing operations. You will work with precision tools to support production and quality goals.

Responsibilities include setting up and operating conventional and CNC machine tools, measuring parts with micrometers and calipers, and maintaining and calibrating precision instruments to ensure parts meet exact tolerances.

Qualifications

• College diploma (1–2 year program) in a related field.
• Experience in the field is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Measure and lay out work pieces in preparation for assembly.

• Set up and adjust production machineries/tools.
• Fit and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance.

• Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers).
• Set up and operate conventional and computer controlled machine tools.
• Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments.
