Job summary

TMS- Bâtiments préfabriqués in Saint-Henri, QC, is seeking a general labour worker to support metal fabrication operations. You will check shapes and dimensions, cut and form metal stock, read blueprints, and assist with basic welding and assembly tasks.

The role requires physically demanding work and attention to safety protocols. The position offers day and evening shifts, on-site work, and opportunities to gain hands-on experience in a busy metal product fabrication environment with standard

Qualifications

• No degree, certificate or diploma required.
• 1 year to less than 2 years of experience expected.

• Check products for correct shapes, dimensions and other specifications.
• Cut, bend, roll, ream, punch, drill, weld or otherwise shape and form metal stock into parts or products.
• Operate machines or equipment which weld, solder, bolt, screw or rivet metal parts together.
• Select and transport material to work area manually or using crane or hoist.
• Read blueprint, schemas and drawings.
• Perform general labouring duties.
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations.
