Job summary

Structure SBL Inc. is seeking a CNC technician to operate and set up machines for repetitive machining tasks in a manufacturing environment. The role requires a 1–2 year college/CEGEP diploma and 1+ year of related experience, or equivalent. You will verify part dimensions using precision tools and maintain a clean, safe workspace.

Proficiency with CNC tooling, laser cutters, and sawing equipment is beneficial. This is a permanent, on-site position with occasional overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• 1 year to less than 2 years of experience required.
• Or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up machines to perform repetitive machining operations.
• Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers).
• Prepare etching solution and immerse metal parts or workpiece into the etching solution to remove unwanted portions.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and machinery.
• Enter codes specifying speed, feed and cut of the toolpath for computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine tools.
• Clean and maintain work space.
