Job summary

Granite Warehouse Inc. in Leduc, AB is seeking a skilled stone-cutting operator for a permanent, full-time on-site role. You will cut stone blocks to specified dimensions, read blueprints, and operate grinding and drilling machines to produce high-quality stone products.

Two vacancies available, starts as soon as possible. Role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to handle heavy loads in a demanding production environment.

Qualifications

• Experience operating stone cutting machinery.
• Ability to read blueprints/schemas/drawings.

Responsibilities

• Operate blade or wire saws to cut blocks of stone to specified dimensions.
• Record manufacturing information such as quantity, size and type of goods produced.
• Operate grinding/polishing machines to achieve smooth finish on stone surfaces.
• Read blueprints, schemas and drawings.
• Operate drilling machines to make holes according to specifications.
• Set up machines for production.
