Job description

We’re hiring a reliable and experienced Machine Operator to join our Packaging team on the night shift. In this role, you’ll operate filling and packaging machines and ensure smooth production runs. You’ll also support other areas of the plant as needed. If you’re mechanically inclined, quality-focused, and comfortable in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment—this is the job for you!

What You’ll Do :

1. Operate automated filling and packaging equipment
2. Monitor production lines and perform routine checks
3. Conduct daily CIP (Clean-in-Place) washes
4. Ensure product integrity (seals, weights, and order quantities)
5. Complete required documentation (GMP, HACCP, safety checklists)
6. Cross-train on machinery in other plant areas
7. Provide coverage for other operators or plant helpers as needed
8. Communicate with maintenance or supervisors to resolve issues
9. Follow all food safety, quality, and safety procedures

What You Bring :

1. 2+ years machine operating experience (preferably in food or beverage production)
2. Working knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, and strong sanitation habits
3. Experience with CIP systems, aseptic, or ESL packaging is a plus
4. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
5. Good communication and teamwork abilities
6. Physically able to lift up to 25 kg and stand for long periods
7. Flexibility to work various shifts and cover vacation / illness as needed
8. Basic computer skills and comfort with automated systems
9. Exposure to cold, humidity, and noise
10. Fast-paced environment with moving machinery and forklift traffic
11. Occasional work in dry or freezer environments (4°C)
