Job summary

Olymel s.e.c. / l.p in Lévis is seeking an entry-level production operator for a meat processing plant. You will perform machine adjustments, set up processing/packaging lines, inspect products for defects, and document production data to ensure quality and efficiency.

Work is on-site in a fast-paced environment with noisy, cold/refrigerated conditions. Physical tasks include standing for long periods and repetitive motions; prior experience is noted but not required, with 1–7 months in

Responsibilities

• Perform corrective machine adjustments.
• Record production information.
• Clean machines and immediate work areas.
• Maintain shift log of production and other data.
• Set up and adjust processing and packaging machines.
• Check products for defects and conformance to company standards.
• Remove filled containers from conveyors.
• Manually pack goods into bags and boxes or other containers.
• Feed and unload processing machines.
• Food safety/handling skills.
• Transport raw materials, finished products and packaging materials.
