IPEX is hiring a Machine Operator at the Bermondsey, ON facility to join the Production team. You will operate multiple production machines, perform quality checks, and ensure products meet IPEX quality standards on a 12-hour continental night shift.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality checks and identify, sort, and rework non-conforming products as required.
• Accurately label, bag, pack, and prepare products for shipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S principles and safety requirements.
• Use PPE and follow all Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality procedures.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist in training new employees when required.

The successful candidate must be comfortable performing repetitive manual tasks that involve frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, pushing, and pulling materials and products. The role requires good hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, and the ability to safely operate multiple production machines while maintaining quality standards. Employees must be capable of lifting and handling materials weighing up to 50 lbs and performing light assembly work using hand tools and production equipment. Working conditions include exposure to a manufacturing plant environment with moving machinery, production equipment, noise, heat, and airborne dust.
