About This Opportunity

The Machine Operator is responsible for operating various manual and automated equipment in the production process.

Responsibilities

  • Operate high-speed filling and packaging equipment safely; perform minor servicing and lockout / tagout procedures as needed.
  • Set up machinery ensuring all materials are correct and available.
  • Verify the delivery and accuracy of raw materials and related documentation.
  • Troubleshoot equipment faults; communicate root causes of malfunctions.
  • Analyze issues / malfunctions and communicate with relevant personnel via radio or in person.
  • Fill branded containers with liquid product.
  • Maintain blow-mold technology for PET production.
  • Input data into LIS and IQS systems.
  • Apply brand labels to bottles.
  • Feed bottles or cartons into automated machines for packaging.
  • Palletize and shrink-wrap finished products for storage and distribution using RF scanning and warehouse management systems.
  • Conduct visual quality inspections and log findings in the Infinity QS database; report out-of-spec issues.
  • Operate forklift safely for raw material replenishment and storage of finished goods.
  • Keep equipment area organized and clean.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least one year of work experience.
  • Experience in machine operation in a production / manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Experience working in high-speed industrial settings preferred.
  • Knowledge of industrial technology is a plus.
  • Basic math, mechanical aptitude, and reading skills preferred.
  • Familiarity with Lean, TPM, 5S, Root Cause Analysis, and continuous improvement practices is preferred.
