Job summary

Crossroads C&I Edmonton AB is currently hiring a Fabricator to manage daily production and fabricating insulation products tailored to customer specifications. You will operate a band saw and related equipment to create fiberglass, mineral wool and other insulation types.

The position emphasizes safety, quality, and efficiency, with opportunities for growth, competitive pay, and benefits including medical, dental, life, disability coverage, and PTO.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills are required.
• Experience in a warehouse environment is preferred.
• Forklift certification is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate fabrication equipment such as a band saw and other saws.
• Measure materials with tape measures and other devices.
• Interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
• Maintain quality and housekeeping.
• Follow safety requirements.
• Safely operate a forklift and/or pallet jack.
• Stand up to 8 hours and lift up to 23 kg.

Crossroads C&I Edmonton AB is currently hiring a Fabricator who is responsible for the daily production at CCI – Edmonton. Fabricators create insulation specifically ordered for any unique situation.

As a Fabricator, you will operate a band saw and other types of saws to custom fabricate fiberglass, mineral wool, perlite, and many other types of specialized insulation. This unique offering sets CCI apart from our competitors.

Skills & Responsibilities

• Efficiently operate fabrication equipment like a band saw, and capable of learning other types of saws and equipment.
• Effectively measure material with tape measure or other measuring devices.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
• Maintain quality and housekeeping.
• Comply with all safety requirements.
• Safely operate a forklift and/or pallet jack.
• Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, pulling and lifting up 23 kg.
• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours to perform job related tasks.

Qualifications

• Compute basic math problems.
• Previous experience working in a warehouse environment.
• Forklift certification is preferred, but not required.

Compensation

Compensation Range $17.50 - $30.32
