Role Overview

As a Machine Learning Engineer, you’ll design and deploy scalable ML pipelines to streamline insurance processes, focusing on large language models (LLMs) and prompt engineering to drive accuracy and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and optimise ML pipelines for insurance use cases, enhancing submission intake efficiency.
• Benchmark and fine-tune open-source LLMs to meet business needs, ensuring adaptability.
• Advance prompt engineering and model optimisation for cutting-edge ML infrastructure.
• Mentor junior team members and collaborate cross-functionally to elevate performance.
• Ensure scalable, reliable, and compliant production-grade deployments.

Who Are You:

• 5+ years as a Machine Learning Engineer, with 3+ years of pipelining LLMs.
• Expert in designing, training, and fine-tuning NLP models and LLMs; open-source model experience is a plus.
• Skilled in scalable ML pipelines (e.g., Kubeflow) and cloud platforms for model deployment and data processing.
• Strong communicator, able to convey complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders.
