Job summary

Spearhead is seeking a results-driven Origination & Advisory professional in Toronto, hybrid work model. You will generate conversations with acquisition targets, reach decision-makers via email/LinkedIn, and advance discussions on M&A opportunities for our clients.

As you grow, you will manage prospects, expand scope within Origination & Advisory, and contribute to strategic initiatives around capital markets.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or relevant field, graduating near top of class.
Up to two years of relevant experience in business development.
Keen understanding of mergers & acquisitions and capital markets.
Outstanding ability to engage and influence prospects over email/LinkedIn/mail.
Outstanding ability to document interactions with prospects.
Superior written communication skills.
High degree of organization, curiosity, and willingness to learn.
A good mind for business.
Languages of interest: Portuguese, Mandarin, Spanish.

Responsibilities

Email, mail, and LinkedIn outreach to already-qualified prospects in our CRM.
Build, nurture, and manage the prospect pipeline.
Achieve or exceed personal monthly targets.
Maintain and update an accurate log of activity in our CRM.
Embrace data-oriented practices to optimize personal performance.
Exhibit a thirst for ongoing learning and development to ensure target achievement, professional growth, and increased knowledge of M&A and capital markets.
