Dufry Vancouver at YVR is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead luxury-brand store teams across Hermes, Cartier, Burberry and more, ensuring exceptional customer service and brand presentation.

You will manage a sales-focused environment, schedule shifts, mentor staff, handle cash, and uphold airport and company policies while delivering a premium passenger experience.

This Shift Supervisor Job Is For You, If You Would Enjoy:

• Operating stores such as: Hermes, Bvlgari, Cartier, Omega, Ferragamo, Burberry, Moncler and more!
• The successful candidate will be responsible for managing Luxury Brands and its shift team, and ensuring the highest level of customer service. The Shift Supervisor will inspire, lead, and develop a team of sales associates to deliver on the company objective of excellent proactive service to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
• Working at the World Duty-Freeat Vancouver International Airport

Your Team is counting on you as a Shift Supervisor to:

• Provide flexibility to work anyshift(Weekdays, Weekends & Holidays)
• Workfull-time

Key Responsibilities :

Selling and customer experience, team and service management, and product and presentation management

Promote quality customer service among staff by acting as a positive role model

• Maintain employee attitude and morale by recognizing outstanding performance and service, motivating, and developing staff
• Analyze sales data to set sales goals and implement sales programs to meet targets
• Ensure pricing, signing, and ticketing of merchandise are accurate
• Responsible for opening and closing the store and securing all assets
• Ensure that the store is in compliance with all Airport, Provincial, and Federal employment laws/regulations
• Oversee inventory counting at the end of the shift and conduct staff bag checks
• Assume Terminal Manager's responsibility in his/her absence
• Ensure all health and safety protocols are adhered to at all times
• Reconciliation of cash, card, and bank deposits
• Investigate any cash discrepancies together with the cashier to identify and solve problems
• Organize and coordinate shift plans.

Required Qualifications :

• 3+ years of retail experience with at least 1 year in a supervisory/leader role within the luxury retail/service industry
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent listening and communication skills
• Proficient in MS Excel and adaptable to other systems as required
• Strong working knowledge of retail operations, including cash and inventory control, markdown compliance, merchandise handling, and shrink management
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Must have a valid driver's license and vehicle due to operating hours
• Successfully clear a criminal background check RAIC requirements
