The Waterloo Catholic District School Board is seeking a Lunch Hour Supervisor Level 2 at St Peter Catholic Elementary School in Cambridge, ON. Position involves monitoring safety during lunch, with a schedule of 11:15am–12:15pm, five days a week, Sept to June, for about 41 weeks per year.

Applicants should be 18+, eligible to work in Canada, and ideally have experience with children. First Aid/CPR is advantageous; responsive communication with students and staff is essential.

The Waterloo Catholic District School Board with a total student population of 38,000, provides services to students in 52 schools (Kindergarten to Grade 12) across the Waterloo Region.

General Description of Duties

• Ensure the safety and security of students during the lunch period.

Minimum Requirements

• 18 years of age or over;
• Canadian citizen with Social Insurance Number or valid work permit to be eligible to work in Canada

Desirable Assets

• Experience working with children
• Willingness to assume a wide variety of duties;
• Ability to communicate in a sensitive, courteous manner with students, parents, staff and the general public;
• Ability to work as a team player;
• Current First Aid and CPR certification is an asset.

Hourly Rate: $28.11 – $29.51 per hour, Level 2

Location: St Peter Catholic Elementary School, Cambridge, ON.

Hours of Work: 1 hour per day, 5 hours per week, Monday - Friday

11:15am- 12:15pm

Weeks/Year: Approx. 41 weeks/year (September – June)

Effective Date: September 8, 2026
