Job summary

RONA is seeking a lumberyard associate in Quebec to provide expert advice on lumber and building materials. You will help customers, assist with loading, and ensure accurate invoices while maintaining a safe, organized yard.

The role requires physical stamina and a willingness to assist with daily store upkeep, unloading trucks, and stock maintenance. Growth opportunities and a team-driven environment are offered by RONA.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 25 pounds.
• Knowledge of building materials is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with expert advice and assistance for lumber and building material needs.
• Assist customers in loading product safely and efficiently; check invoices and verify correct product is provided.
• Assist with daily upkeep of the department including unloading trucks, culling lumber, organizing stock, cleaning, price labelling, and maintaining pallets/stock.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment for employees and customers.
• Opening and closing duties as needed in the Yard.
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly.
