RONA Atlantic seeks a lumberyard team member to provide expert advice to customers and help with loading and stocking materials. You’ll work outdoors in a team environment, ensuring accurate invoices and safe handling of products.

Qualifications

• Experience assisting customers with hardware and building materials.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds.
• Knowledge of building materials is an asset.

Responsabilités

• Provide customers with expert advice and assistance for lumber and building materials.
• Assist customers in loading product safely and efficiently.
• Check invoices and verify correct product is provided.
• Assist with daily department upkeep: unload trucks, stock, label, and organize pallets.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment for employees and customers.
• Opening and closing duties as needed in the Yard.
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly.

Your role:

• Provide customers with expert advice and assistance for their lumber and building material needs
• Assist customers in loading product safely and efficiently
• Check invoices and verify correct product is provided
• Assist with the daily upkeep of the department including off loading trucks, culling lumber, organizing stock, cleaning, price labelling, and maintaining pallets/stock
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment for employees and customers
• Opening and closing duties as needed in the Yard
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly

What we're looking for:

• Ability to lift 25 pounds
• Knowledge of building materials is an asset
