Job summary

Saskatoon Co-op is seeking a hardware/lumber associate to join our Home Centre team in Saskatoon. You will maintain lumber and hardware in M19, manage customer and vendor master files, and handle end-of-day procedures with accuracy.

A focus on service and efficiency is essential. Responsibilities include coordinating maintenance of hardware equipment, updating file systems for Home Centres, and handling calls professionally.

Qualifications

• Must be strongly service-oriented and motivated to serve customers courteously and efficiently.
• Must be well organized and capable of high production with minimal supervision.
• Minimum of three years lumber and hardware product and receiving experience.
• Knowledge of Hardware and Building Products to operate effectively.
• Data entry experience and computer skills.
• Experience operating the home centre computer system (M19).
• Must be available to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintain lumber and hardware in M19.
• Maintain customer and vendor master files.
• Administer start and end of day procedures.
• Coordinate maintenance of hardware equipment and software programs.
• Coordinate file maintenance activities for Home Centres.
• Answer the phone in a friendly and courteous manner.
