Job summary

AgeCare is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to deliver goal-directed nursing care in a resident-centered environment. Reporting to the Director of Care, you will be part of an interdisciplinary team ensuring high-quality, compassionate care that respects residents’ dignity and well-being.

You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care plans, coordinate with physicians and staff, and support transitions, with a relocation bonus up to $10,000 for eligible relocations to BC

Qualifications

• Current LPN registration in the applicable province (Alberta).
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Vulnerable Sector Check (or willingness to obtain).
• Proficiency with electronic documentation and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and administer medications and treatments in accordance with policies and regulations.
• Work collaboratively with the care team using a person-centered care approach.
• Maintain accurate resident assessments, care plans, and documentation; communicate updates.
• Coordinate care plans with physicians, team members, and service providers.
• Respond to changes in residents’ conditions and emergencies.
