Job summary

Borealis Fuels & Logistics Ltd. seeks a Class G1 or G2 gasfitter to expand its Thunder Bay and Northwestern Ontario service team. The role focuses on installing, maintaining, and upgrading LPG systems across commercial and residential sites, with emphasis on safety and code compliance.

The position requires Ontario gasfitting licenses, a valid CDL with Air Brake endorsement, and training in bulk handling and TDG. You will operate and train others on LPG transloaders and large projects.

Qualifications

• Gasfitter licensed in Ontario with G1/G2 status and certification in propane handling.
• Valid driver's licence with Air Brake endorsement (Z) or plan to obtain.
• Familiar with bulk storage, tank inspections and PTI recognized training.
• Training in Transportation of Dangerous Goods and related safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Support LPG service excellence in Ontario and Thunder Bay region.
• Perform new tank installations and tank swaps; service bulk storage facilities.
• Design, build and service industrial gas distribution systems and vaporizers.
• Install and service propane appliances, meters, valves, burners, and vaporizers.
• Work with liquid piping, train others on LPG transloader operations.
• Ensure CSA B149.2 code compliance and pursue G1 certification progress.
