Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in software development, workflow automation, systems integration, or a related field.
  • Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Hands-on experience developing workflow or automation solutions using a low-code platform, such as ServiceNow, Microsoft Power Platform, or a similar platform.
  • Experience working with SQL and databases.
  • Experience connecting different applications or systems using APIs, integrations, or other integration tools.
  • Strong ability to understand business processes and translate business needs into practical technology solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on improving processes and finding efficient solutions.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and collaborate effectively with both technical and business teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality, testing, documentation, and reliable solutions.
  • Demonstrated sound judgment when working with confidential and sensitive information.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and support workflow and automation solutions using platforms such as ServiceNow and Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Collaborate with business teams to understand processes and identify opportunities for automation.
  • Build and maintain integrations between different business applications and systems using APIs and connectors.
  • Develop custom solutions using C#/.NET and SQL when low-code tools aren’t sufficient.
  • Test, troubleshoot, and maintain existing workflows, applications, and integrations.
  • Support releases and upgrades and ensure documentation and security standards are followed.
