Job summary

OPENLANE is seeking a casual/part-time Lot Driver in Richmond, BC to assist with vehicle movement within Vehicle Logistic Centers. The role involves staging for reconditioning, auction preparation, and daily inventory updates.

You will record services and help ensure road-worthy vehicles across all weather conditions. The position is part-time with typical 1-3 eight-hour shifts per week, requiring a valid Class 5 license and basic computer/smartphone skills.

Qualifications

• Must have valid full Class 5 driver's license and safety-conscious approach.
• Basic computer and smartphone skills required.
• Basic knowledge of vehicles and upkeep preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicles to move through the remarketing system, including staging for reconditioning or transport.
• Move, mark, flag, and stage vehicles as instructed for auction or transfer.
• Record services (fuel, tow, etc.) for accurate billing and inventory checks.
• Scan parked vehicles in AuctionTrac to maintain inventory and movement records.
• Assist with road-worthiness checks (tires, fuel, lights, brakes) and operate vehicles in various weather conditions.
