Job summary

401 Group of Companies in Kitchener, Ontario, is hiring a Lot Attendant to keep the lot organized and moving vehicles with precision in our fast-paced dealership team. You will help maintain vehicle presentation and flow throughout busy days, ensuring orderly lot operations.

You will clean exteriors and interiors, verify car deliveries, inspect for damage, assign stock numbers, and park cars safely. A valid G license and ability to work outdoors are required.

Qualifications

• Valid G Driver’s License required.
• Clean driving record.
• Must be comfortable working outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Clean vehicle exteriors by hand, brush or washing equipment.
• Polish, dry and clean vehicle windshields, windows, lights, mats and exterior body.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area throughout the day and perform end-of-day cleanup.
• Verify receipt of cars, park cars safely, and compare serial numbers to invoices.
• Inspect cars for damage and verify accessories listed on invoices.
• Record damages and missing items on the delivery receipt.
• Assign stock control numbers to cars and catalog/store keys.
• Re-park cars to maximize space and transfer vehicles between dealerships in the group.
• Run errands for the dealership and support busy daily operations.

We’re looking for a reliable, energetic, and detail-oriented Lot Attendant to join our dealership team! In this high-paced, hands-on role, you’ll be the driving force behind our vehicle organization, presentation, and flow—helping keep our lot looking sharp and our operations running smoothly.

Wage: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

What You Will Be Doing:

• Clean vehicle exteriors by hand, brush or washing equipment
• Polish, dry and clean vehicle windshields, windows, lights, mats and exterior body
• Maintain a clean and orderly workarea throughout the workday, ensuring a final clean up at the end of the day

• Verify receipt of cars delivered to dealer and parks cars in the lot in a safe and orderly manner
• Compare serial numbers of incoming cars against invoice
• Inspect cars to detect damage and to verify presence of accessories listed on invoice, such as spare tires and radio and stereo equipment
• Record description of damages and lists missing items on the delivery receipt

• Assign stock control numbers to cars, and catalogs and stores keys
• Re-park cars, following sales, to maximize the use of space and maintain lot in order
• Run errands for the dealership, ie: pick up parts or customers, etc.
• Clean vehicle exteriors by hand, brush or washing equipment and vacuum, shampoo, and clean vehicle interior
• Polish, dry and clean vehicle windshields, windows, lights, mats and exterior body
• Clean, protect, and preserve vehicle interiors (i.e., carpet and upholstery, dash and console, door panels, mirrors, glove compartment) and exteriors (i.e., wheels/tires/wheel wells, lower body panels, front grill/bumper), as well as cleaning engine compartments
• Perform basic maintenance checks: antenna, under the hood, inside the vehicle, inside the trunk, and outside vehicle
• Transfer vehicles from dealership to other dealerships in our Group
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by Supervisor

What You Bring to the Table:

• Valid G Driver’s License
• Clean Drivers Abstract
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Ability to drive manual considered an asset
• Must be comfortable working outdoors
