Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Forklift Certification considered an asset.
• Experience as a detailer in the automotive sector preferred.

Responsibilities

• Keep service lot organized and in working condition.

• Work with service and sales departments to ensure vehicle readiness.

Full Time Position | Weekday | Some Weekends/nights required in peak season

Overview

As a LOT ATTENDANT/DETAILER, the successful candidate will be responsible for keeping the lot organized, helping customers and shipping companies unload trucks/trailers, and detailing powersports vehicles/motorcycles.

Actions & Responsibilities

• Ensure service lot is organized and in working condition (i.e. doorways are shovelled in the winter, etc.)
• Ensure outdoor show units are moved from lot to front display area at the beginning of the day
• Assist customers and couriers with the unloading and reloading of products/units
• Work with the service department to ensure units are in serviceable condition (i.e. mud sprayed off) for technicians and rinsed off once repairs are completed
• Work with the sales department to ensure new units as fully detailed and showcased for delivery
• Able to work independently and as a team
• Ensure the technicians’ next job is accessible and required parts are with the unit for repair
• Ensure the technicians’ next morning job is on their lift at end of day

Qualifications & Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Forklift Certification consider an asset
• Experience working as a detailer in the automotive sector considered an asset
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently with little direction or as team
• Some heavy lifting required
